Our client is a Commercial insurance broker with numerous locations across North America. We are looking to add a commercial banker with a strong professional network. Our client will
provide the appropriate training to help you transition from banking to commercial insurance. The upside potential is strong for the right candidate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Producer will be partnered with an Account Manager to handle the customer service side of the relationship.
- Prospect and sell new property/casualty accounts.
- Prospect and sell additional coverage to existing clients.
- Meet annual new business sales goals through a variety of sources: cold calls, referrals, cross selling, niche marketing, etc.
- Gather all supporting data for the preparation of a submission to marketing/underwriting.
- Review all policies, endorsements, audits, etc., to ensure complete and accurate before delivering.
- Update data and service existing accounts
- Perform all collections on own accounts, arrange satisfactory financing or cancel coverage.
- Review claims and ensure necessary action is taken by the claims department or service personnel, assist when necessary.
- Maintain high standards for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency and company personnel to minimize potential for error or omission claims.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with company sales, underwriting, and claim representatives.
- Submit weekly expense reports and semi monthly marketing reports.
- Attend and proactively participate in sales meetings.
- Serve as a back up to other Sales Executives.
- Pursue professional studies, maintains a familiarity with trends in the industry and with new insurance products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
COMPENSATION:
- 100+K base. Plus extremely competitive industry commission payout.
- Will pay higher for well established large rolodex of business contacts.
